Make Paper Mache Bowls with Ms. Jillian!
Lets get creative and make some fun paper mache bowls! You'll learn how to make a paper mache paste, form a bowl, and at the end you can paint and press flowers into your creation and decorate as you desire. These bowls will be perfect for storing any small treasures! After completing your new bowl, head outside to explore and find some natural treasures to keep.
*Materials are not included in the registration fee. Although it is encouraged, suggested materials are not required to participate.
Suggested materials:
- Newspaper (torn into strips)
- flour
- water
- 1 bowl to mix your paste
- 1 small bowl to use as a paper mache model
- aluminum foil or plastic wrap (we recommend you cover your small bowl with this material prior to the program)
- spoon
- measuring cup
- scissors
- acrylic paint & paintbrush (optional)
- cooking spray
- flowers and/or leaves
