Keep the fun going by planting a second summer garden. Our summer growing season in Atlanta is so long that you can sow second and sometimes third plantings of certain vegetables, herbs, and flowers. This is especially helpful when you start your garden late or vegetables you planted back in April have slowed down or (yikes!) died.
Join Stephanie Van Parys, Wylde Center's executive director and horticulturist as she discusses the different vegetables, herbs, and flowers you may plant in mid to late summer in Atlanta to fill the gaps in your garden.
Class attendees will also finish the evening by sowing out vegetables, flowers, and herbs that they will take home to plant in their garden for a late summer harvest.
