Drop your child off at Hawk Hollow for a fun educational experience! This week we will walk the creek at Hawk Hollow, exploring marine life and studying the water quality at the site. We will also explore the greenspace to see what animals call this place home, and see how the creek interacts with the environment (and humans) around it.

What are summer field trips? Summer field trip are 2-hour WC educator-led educational opportunities for students in grades 1-5. These are like mini-camp experiences, so parents may drop their children off with the same Wylde Center educators who run our summer camp (which we have sadly decided not to hold this year) while they run errands (or just grab a coffee!).
Each opportunity will have a different theme and rotate through each of our 5 greenspaces, so your family will get the chance to experience our programming at each of our sites!
Field trips take place on Wednesdays from 9:30 am-11:30 am. Please see individual opportunity listings for specific details.
Covid-19 Statement + Safety: The group will be limited to 10 students and 2 Wylde Center educators. Educators are fully vaccinated, and will follow CDC guidelines for outdoor camps, including social distancing. Students are required to wear masks until CDC guidelines state otherwise, and the entirety of the camp will be held outdoors except for bathroom breaks. All Wylde Center educators are CPR/First Aid certified.
